The Digital Time Travels Project is an interdisciplinary project which aims to study the effects of new technology on the display of archaeological information. Archaeologists from the University of Gothenburg, together with researchers at Chalmers University of Technology and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, are currently working together with private corporations, museums, and other cultural institutions to develop and evaluate interactive installations and web applications which utilise existing and new technologies to deliver attractive and informitave information about the past to museum visitors and web users.
Digital Time-Travels has developed digital and computer aided methods for the presentation of cultural heritage information in museum environments and over the Internet. An online web-tv report about our exhibit at Lödöse Museum in West Sweden is found
here (in Swedish).
